Well!..I always think that somehow I will manage the time and write a blog..but didnt make a real attempt. But today I am waiting for some work to come, but our client is busy deploying the application so there is no work for the team.
The Blog title.."A new start..Deutsch way." puts light on a new beginning in my life..oh before anybody comes to any conclusion let me clear what I mean....I m learning a new Foreign language.and thats German..so called Deutsch in its language.
Knowing atleast one Foreign language do help at some point. If you go for special classes conducted outside in market, they really cost. However, I was lucky enough to get to learn a language without spending a single penny.
I joined the German training conducted in my office and it is fun and enjoyable one. Few things which I learnt I am mentioning it here..I will introduce myself in German first.
Q. What is your name or What are you called as? -- English.
A. I am Punam.
The same thing in German goes like this
Q. Wie heißt du?
A. Ich heiße Punam. Or . Ich bin Punam.
Wow..that sounds so simple.. what's next than.
Q. How are you?
A. Thanks, I am fine.
The same in German means
Q. Wie geht es dir?
A. Danke, es geht mir gut.
Now here..Danke means Thanks..this word could be useful one. :-)
This is the amount of German I learnt on my first day of the training. Our trainer has assured us that by 2 sessions , we would atleast know the common start for a conversations with a new person - i,e Whats your name and How are you?.
I will mention more about my German training in the coming blogs..for time being..
